ANZAC Biscuit Recipe

We loved eating the ANZAC biscuits Mrs Laburn made for us
they were so yummy!

During the war families baked and sent "soldier biscuits" to the soldiers overseas.
They became known as ANZAC biscuits after the Gallipoli landings in 1915.
The biscuits were a hard, long lasting biscuit that could
survive the journey by sea and still be edible.
ANZAC biscuits are a traditional biscuit of New Zealanders and Australians.
