World Environment Day is an annual event held on the 5th June. WED is when we can celebrate and show an awareness of environmental issues and caring for our planet. We want the world to be a safe and beautiful place for us and future generations. On Friday we will be celebrating World Environment Day with lots of fun activities, planting seedlings (bring your own yoghurt container), tours through the Bee Hive, poster competitions, face painting, and planting in the Trees for Survival Unit.
We will also be having a special Environment Assembly.
Room 3 will be presenting the Honey bee dance. All parents, family and friends are invited to come along and watch our very exciting item. Assembly starts at 9.00.
If you don't get a chance to come along we will post the video clip on the blog.
Could all Room 3 children please be at school by 8.20am to ensure you have plenty of time to get dressed into your costumes.
